A partnership describes the runs added while a batting pair is together. The team score lets you see that stretch even when the individual scorecard is not in view.

Suppose a team is 32/2 when a pair comes together, then reaches 94/2 before another wicket. The team added 94 − 32 = 62 runs without a wicket falling. That is a 62-run stand in this simplified scoreboard reading.
It does not say each batter scored 31. Extras and unequal contributions can affect the individual scorecard. The team total alone gives the combined increase, not a personal split.
With a target of 151, the team at 94/2 needs 151 − 94 = 57 more runs. Earlier at 32/2 it needed 119. The partnership reduced the requirement by 62 while preserving the same wicket count.
Now suppose the score becomes 94/3 on the next ball. The runs still needed remain 57, but one fewer wicket is available. A wicket changes the batting resources, not the target arithmetic. That is why both sides of the slash matter.
A target of 57 more runs says little without balls remaining. If six complete overs remain, the simple required rate is 57 ÷ 6 = 9.5 runs per over; if only three remain, it is 19. The same score has a different time pressure.
This calculation assumes the scheduled overs and target have not been revised. A rain-shortened event may display a new target. Fishing and slot topics on the cited page cannot supply the missing cricket format; they follow their own rules.
The team has 94 runs and has lost two wickets; the slash is not division.
Sixty-two team runs were added with no further wicket in that stretch.
No. It changes wickets remaining, while 151 − 94 remains 57.
